Offeringthe bright F1.4 aperture and an angle of view extremely close to that ofhuman vision, this lens is ideal for many different types ofphotography. Equipped with the latest in lens technology, the 30mm 1.4lens boasts a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM), Super Multi-Layer Coating and adesign featuring Thermally Stable Composite Material (TSC). The HSMensures quiet, accurate and high-speed autofocus, the Super Multi-LayerCoating reduces flare and ghosting, while the TSC reduces expansion andcontraction of the internal lens barrel. A rear focus system preventsfocus-dependent variation in aberration, making high-level image qualitypossible throughout the entire image. With their unchanging barrellength, these lenses also enhance balance and stability for thephotographer. An optimized autofocus achieves a smoother focusing. The30mm 1.4 has a minimum focusing distance of 11.8in and a maximummagnification ratio of 1:6.8. A 9 blade rounded diaphragm createsbeautiful bokeh. Under the Global Vision standard, every lens will betested before shipping using the Sigma A1 MTF system to ensure thehighest degree of quality possible.
