Il telo, in materiale plastico, si adatta a qualsiasi tipo di terreno, deve essere
steso ed inchiodato al suolo (con chiodi metallici o di plastica) e può essere ricoperto
con corteccia, lapillo vulcanico, marmo tritato o qualsiasi tipologia di roccia
a piccola o media pezzatura per rendere l'aiuola visivamente più piacevole.

Il telo consente, a seguito delle annaffiature, il passaggio di acqua e di concimi
nella parte sottostante di terreno; allo stesso modo, concimando con concimi solidi
la parte superficiale, è consentito il passaggio degli elementi nutritivi a seguito
delle annaffiature.
